Planning Deputy Governor of Ilam said:" last year, a total of four thousand and 660 m2 of carpet was woven in Ilam."
According to Fars News Agency from Ilam, Heshmatollah Asgari in Ilam Carpet Committee said:" the amount of carpet weaving in Ilam province has increased a thousand meter comparing to the same period last year."
"It is predicted carpet weavers in Ilam will proceed to carpet weaving more than the past year."
The official added:" production and weaving of Ilam carpet will reach 10 thousand m2 which is a good figure."
"Approving plans, issuing certificate for Ilam carpet and also running specialized centers and carpet faculties in Ilam are the most important demands of carpet weavers, which officials should pay attention to." Asgari clarified.
"These issues are also the requests of this administration and should be considered by relevant authorities."
