The third earthy carpet is to be spread in Hormoz Island from next week.
"This carpet will be made by colorful soil of Hormoz Island during the interval of two religious feasts next week." Mahmoud Ameri, sheriff of Hormoz said.
This earthy carpet is derived from customs and traditions of Hormoz, made in 1500 m2, and called Hormoz, the stone of Persian Gulf, as Ameri put forth.
Hormoz Island is famous as the paradise of geologists which has a range of 9 colored soils because of the existence of different geological layers .colored soils are emerged by the phenomenon of weathering in igneous and alkali stones, the color of which is used in dyeing, artistic, pharmaceutical industries.
In the past two years the biggest earthy carpets were laid out by visual art artists in Hormoz Island on the shore of Persian Gulf.
